Immediately after the treatment you will see small needle marks and some people will also get mosquito like lumps at the injection site, usually settling within half an hour.
You can resume your daily activities as usual.
Do not rub or massage the treated area for at least 24 hours, as this can spread the medication to other muscles possibly causing undesirable results.
Do not wear hats, helmets, glasses, goggles or any other wear that press firmly onto the areas being treated, as this can spread the medication to other muscles possibly causing undesirable results.
Avoid strenuous exercise and hot baths or saunas on the day of your treatment, this can increase the chances of bruising and increasing swelling to the injection site.
Make-up
Donβt apply makeup for 4 hours; although unlikely it can increase the risk of infection, and irritation to the injections site.
Swelling and bruising
Although we take great care in trying to prevent bruising, and swelling, It's still normal to experience some mild swelling, redness, and possibly bruising at the injection sites. These effects should subside within a few days.
For any small bruises hirudoid or arnica can speed the resolution.
Medications and supplements
Avoid taking any blood-thinning medication, or supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) discontinuing them for 24 hours post treatment to reduce the risk of bruising, and swelling.

Skin treatments and skincare
Do not use topical AHA, Retinols, Vitamin C or make-up for 24 hours post treatment, as the injection site takes around 24 hours to close up, any active ingredients in homecare can cause irritation to the area.

Follow-up appointments

Results
Treatments take up to 14 days to take full effect, in some rare instances 3 weeks. If after two weeks you would like a "top up" this can be assessed and extra product injected (at an additional cost) to the area if necessary.
The effect of treatment is temporary and will be required to be repeated every 3-4 months.
It may take a few treatments to see a resolution of deep lines and wrinkles.
Treatment can only improve lines and wrinkles caused by muscle movement, if the lines and wrinkles are not caused by muscle movement then anti-wrinkle injections will not improve these lines, your treating nurse will discuss treatment outcomes during your consultation.
Maintaining results
Maintain a healthy lifestyle: Eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and getting regular exercise can help maintain overall skin health and extend the longevity of your results.
Schedule follow-up appointments: Results typically last for 3-6 months. To maintain the effects, consider scheduling follow-up appointments as recommended by your treating nurse.
Avoid smoking: Smoking can contribute to premature aging and may reduce the longevity of your results. If you smoke, consider quitting or cutting down to help maintain your skin's appearance.
Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration can improve skin elasticity and overall skin health. Drink an adequate amount of water daily to help maintain your skin's appearance.
Consider skincare and skin treatments: Anti-wrinkle treatments do not treat the skin, thus it's important to discuss with your treating nurse if other skincare, like SPF Vitaminβs A & C, and skin treatments, like skin peels and skin needling, that might complement your treatment to enhance and maintain your results.
